Our brief was to update the company’s original branding to a fresh, contemporary identity, reflecting the companys core business of image consulting and to provide graphic design services.
The logo appears in 2 colour version, with the pink ribbon for general image consultancy and a black on black ribbon for corporate image consultancy. This black on black was achieved with spot UV lamination. The design concept was based on the idea of, drawing on and the coming together (the ribbon) and formalising (the bow) of a personal style.
The branding includes all training materials and website.
Part of ADGs design proposal for the First Impressions website was to create a makeover of a male and female to demonstrate just what image consultancy can achieve and to promote the First Impressions focus on making their clients look good with their own personal style, not what is often perceived as a cookie cutter approach to make-overs. It was important to use a male model in this promotion to show men that their image was just as important as for a woman.
These makeovers are also used to promote the company via YouTube and other social media.
